I think this is a great idea....

But the problem I have is that there are only one or two people I find worth giving points to...... and the system won't let me..... it keeps insisting that I 'spread' them around,........ even though I don't want to ! :eek:

incase anyone missed my comment on rep points:

i'm on -10 rep points...what sad little pissheads goes to the trouble of giving people bad rep points because they dont agree with them or whatever?

the dubious and scumbag nature of rep points can be clearly seen in the way that you dont know who gives u the points....what i mean by this is - its sly little ****s who give people the bad rep points and dont say anything to the person directly, people with no backbone who use covert methods to damage other peoples reputations....

i'm sad to see that boards.ie has decided to facilitate these assholes

Gray means the person who give you positive/negative points could not effect your score. Either they have negative points or they are not on the boards long enough to effect your score.

There are probably a load of factors, but I guess only ecksor or regi really know.

ah alright thanks, so gray isn't necessarily negative, there's no way to know if one was intended as being positive/negative

at least there was a comment on one so it's clear enough, have another with a blank so at a bit of a loss what it was for...

would much prefer to see a comment required when giving feedback, if that's something that can be enabled...

*hands up for vote* I haven't received ANY of these newfangled thingies, but whether they were good, bad or indifferent, I'd rather a comment be forced on it, as well as the user knowing that their username WILL be added to it.

So there must be a limit because I am not aloud to hand out anymore for 24 hours, anyone know what the limit per day is exactley?

And how often you can give a rep point to one person, I gave a good point to someone and tried to give another 2 days later and it wont let me even though i have spead it around a lot since.
