    Hey,

    if I was to buy an unlocked gx30, am I then able to use that with any network at all? I want to get one and use it with speakeasy o2.

    Yes, unlocked means "not network specific".

    Well if I buy one first or second hand, can't I just bring it to one of the places in town that unlock phones for a tenner?

    Take it from me, unlocking a gx20 or gx30 is a major ordeal.
    I had a gx20 an a friend who works for vodafone.

    Even still, it took two weeks of him promising things and flirting outrageously to workmates to get it unlocked, and hes no drone, hes a manager of a store.

    Even if u do as i did and buy one from vodafone without a contract, its STILL locked to vodafone.

    And TBH as a fone, it aint worth the hassles, get a SE P800 instead like i did lol ;)
