Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Van Basten to coach Holland?

    Saw a notice in a paper yesterday saying that Marco van Basten is going to coach Holland.
    Anyone know if this is true?

    If it is, I think it might be good. Van Basten is one of my favorite players through all time, and it would be funny to see klinsmann vs van basten again :)

    Ofcourse, I have no idea what he will be like as a coach, but then again, its always a gamble.

    yes it is true and he has been confirmed as Holland coach .

    he has no espierence with managing a club , but he is one of the most expierienced coachs in Europe .

    I think he'll do a lot better than Klinsmann will .

    He probably will but he has better players at his disposal also.

    Interesting appointment, could be the best thing the KNVB have done in years, he comes from a time when Dutch players actually spoke to each other and passed the ball to each other, regardless of skin colour.
