Chip Tricks

Just wondering who here does chip tricks when they're at the table. I started practicing a couple recently cos I think they look well cool, and they're quite relaxing and keep you focused, particularly when you're not involved in a hand. I do the shuffle and the little drop-down chip twirl thing (when I manage not to drop it that is). What chips tricks do people do? Did you have to practice them? and most importantly, do you buy into the "it intimidates other people at the table" argument? I find that I'll be impressed if someone is twirling and spinning their chips all over the place with one hand while shuffling two stacks of 25 with the other, but it certainly doesn't influence my opinion of them as a player.

It really just means they have been at the table for a long time. It doesn't mean they are substantially skillfull. Myself and my friends can do a few and I did last longer than Mr. F last night, so that obviously means I'm way better than him.

Marq, I have a nifty lil card flicking trick. It's hard to do with he cards in the casino but it's very nice indeed. Mmmmhmmm.
