Thinking of buying a friends car off him

    Corsa Eco
    1.2 L
    97
    Power steering
    5 door
    Low mileage
    NCT till 2006
    Tax till next year
    2 owners (including him)
Front bumper was replaced after someone pulled out too close in front of him.

Got quoted 1300 to insure both my girlfriend and myself (both over 25 and both on provisnoal (my second). Quote was from Axa.

Any anyway he's looking for €2500 for it, any opinons? Have to say im a newbie when it comes to buying cars and I can only imagine every 2nd thread is like this here but any help/suggestions appreicated.

Buy it! A solid buy for a sensible young man (and woman)! :)

Just might try and haggle the price down a few bob but apart from that it sounds ideal. I used to own a 96 1.2 3-dr and it never gave me a moments bother. I lifted the bonnet only to check the fluids.

    Mike.
