    I'm not the only one to suffer theres a thread around here somewhere (off to look) what happens is simple enough - all data ceases in both directions for a second or three, occasionally longer. Then all is fine like nothing happened. Here's that link - stuttering

    All good here too - downloading @ 51KB/s, pings to boards 60 avg, jolt 50 avg.

    I suppose they billed it as "planned maintenance" until they see how it turns out. If everything stays solid, we'll probably hear about a successful bandwidth upgrade over the weekend - if not, it was just "maintenance", with the upgrade still to come.

    Remember, I'm the (not quite so) Happy Clicksilver User. I've had excellent service from them, apart from a few occasions, including this one, that I could count on the fingers of one hand.

    I'm just extrapolating from reported posts by Charles in the NG, to the effect that they didn't know how effective the "maintenance" would be.

    Yep, I just checked utv support and 4 messages have just arrived that were posted 60-90 mins ago.
