Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ESPN's World Club Top 25

European Champions FC Porto finish the 2003-04 season with the No. 1 spot in the ESPN World Club Top 25. Porto moved into the top spot in the final week of the rankings after Boca Juniors lost to Once Caldas in the final of the Copa Libertadores.

English Premier League Champions Arsenal, Italian Serie A Champions AC Milan and Spanish Liga Primera Champions Valencia round out the Top 5.

The honors of each member of the final rankings are listed above.

The ESPN World Club Top 25 will return in October with the first edition of the 2004-05 season.

The ESPN World Club Top 25, a computer-based ranking of the world's top clubs, was developed by the staff at ESPN International in 1999. Now in its fifth season, the Top 25 formula takes into consideration performances in league, continental and cup competitions.

The Top 25 is released every Sunday night throughout the football club season during ESPN's SportsCenter broadcast from Buenos Aires.

Hence Vieira's only going for €35 million. Moving to a lesser club. :D

Arsenal had an exceptional good season and Real's exceptionaly poor. Vieira would have played a big part in Arsenals success and if he could produce the same performance for Real then then it would most likely be roles reversed between arsenal and real next season.

One thing Real missed last year was Makalele, Viera is better than Makalele so they could be potentially frightening with paddy.
