Broadband test.

we should agree a basic test and information for broadband connections.

For example on the 04/aug/04 at 21:00 hours we all ping a certain site(s) and log the average and max time along with basic information like provider and package.

For example:
IOL Basic package
Ping 1 (boards.ie): Minimum = 27ms, Maximum = 28ms, Average = 27ms
Route 1: WLAN, Gateway/DSL, IP (ping from laptop)
Ping 2 (boards.ie): round-trip min/avg/max = 24.7/26.0/28.0 ms
Route 2: Gateway/DSL, IP (ping from router)
Time 21:20 03/aug/04

Ps. Was not my intention but just looked at these times and they seem VERY slow...whats going on?
