Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's a total rip off - I got a full tux (practically the same as the one in the pic, but the jacket was a little shorter), ordered one day in advance, for €50 and €50 deposit for my debs last week. I got the €50 deposit back when I returned it two days later... they didn't even specify a return date, which was pretty decent of them. That was in Galway though...

hahah what a joke! I cant believe you paid so much for a plain tuxedo like that. you can get the same for 40 or 50 euro. Doodee got a pants, a shirt, a tailcoat, a fancy red waistcoat and a ruffley tie thing for roughly the same price. where on earth did you pick up that?

OMG,they told me if l didnt return the tux by 1230 the following day,I'd have to pay 131.90 again.

That's woeful expensive rental cost. Mind you - I've long had the belief that if you reckon you'll get ANY kind of use out of a tux, you're as well off to buy one in the Sales. They don't go out of fashion as such - dammit, it's black, and you can 'upgrade' shirts/bows/waistcoast if you're feeling flush.

I bought one, and realised that I only needed 3 uses of it, and it had paid for itself...it's also a good reason not to pile on weight

"sorry, i shan't have that 8th slice of chocolate cake, or i shall have difficulty fitting into my tux for the next big do i'm at" :D

    just a thought!

thats strange, the company I worked for had a casino night for our xmas do last year and we all rented tuxedo's from black tie, cost us €20 each (but that was with vouchers that were supplied).

I had my debs two years ago and at the time, the best place, value wise was definately Tangos. It cost EUR70 for the works. Its located beside the central bank.

They were very professional and had a wide range of waist coats etc to choose from.
