Motorola V220 GSM WAP Settings?

Hello all,

Before i write this, i know that's there a post stuck at the top of the Board with all the Irish operator settings in it.

But i have a quick query:

Girlfriend got a Motorola V220 the other day off O2. The WAP settings on it were incorrect. So she rang O2 helpline to get the settings sent to her e-mail. The e-mail never got here. She rang again the next day and asked to re-send them. The e-mail never got here. O2 support worst in the country, in my opinion!

Anyways, she went into the local O2 store and got them to ring O2 and send them the settings. She got the e-mail printed but it only had the settings for MMS & GPRS WAP.

The helpline told her there's no GSM WAP settings for Motorola. Surely this can't be right, can it?

So can anyone hook me up with the O2 GSM WAP settings for Motorola?

You can send it to your phone from here. Sometimes can be very slow though.

One last thing: is CSD Wap the same as GSM Wap?

They are both "dial-up", so you are charged for the amount of time you use it, however csd would be like the ISDN of the 2.5g world, whereas regular dialup wap would be like the 56k of the 2.5g world.

Surely the V220 is a gprs phone(arent they all now?), so you would be better off using that as you ony get charged for what you download, and when there is no gprs available, you can still make a csd call using the same settings if you really need to use wap.
