In Star Trek Insurection. Geordis body begins to reject the VISOR, and he grows new eyes. All down to the strange X rays in Briar Patch. Yet Jean Luc dosent keel over and die as his body grows a new heart and rejects his artificail one.

Thats cos his eyes are still there albiet non functional and they begin to regenerate themselves, whereas Picards heart is entirely missing and as such has nothing to regenerate from.

Thinking of plot holes I just remembered in that Voyager two-parter 'Basics' where the ship is taken over by the Kazon there's a part where the Doctor asks the ship's computer how many people are on the ship and the computer answers that there's however many Kazon and one Betazed (Suder) but fails to mention Seska or her half Cardasian child...

Christ this is going to sound pedantic. But did Geordi have the his eyes and visor replaced with prosthetic implants. Much like Picards ticker

    Here's one of my favorites.....

In the 2-part Voyager episode "Dark Frontier", where we get the whole back story on Seven's parents, at the start of the flashback we see little Annika happily playing in her father's office with.... a very detailed replica of a Borg cube!!

Now, seeing as this episode takes place years before Q introduces the Enterprise-D's crew to the Borg (confirmed later in the episode when her father makes a log entry), where did she/he get it then? Even if we assume that Starfleet immediately classified the information, I'm sure it would have been available to the Captain of the Federation's flagship???

The timeline in which Q introduced the federation to the borg was altered in first contact.

The borg go back in time , setting up our introduction in this timeline we see in enterprise.

yes... and the events in enterprise lead the borg to send a ship - which q sent the eneterprise to and thus proved what piccard suspects about him, that q has always had a certin facination with humanity.

q sending the enterpise 2 the first cube encounter lead the federation to start devolopting better weapons and ships like the akira nd the defiant

The Next Phase - AKA The one where Geordi and Ensign Ro become invisible and can pass through walls and doors, yet somehow manage to walk around without falling through the ship's floors, deck by deck, until they reach space.

Also, how could they breathe air in that episode?
