    Hey,
I recently bought a Creative Labs Zen Xtra 40gb from the States.
But the headphone jack got damaged and now I only have sound on in one speaker.
Since I have no warranty, does anyone know of any good places to get this repaired?
    Cheers...

You could do it yourself if you're handy with a soldering iron.
Do a search on google for the headphone jack fix by theBishop.

You should contact Creative anway. They should fufill the warranty regardless of where the product was purchased. I don't think the Zen Xtra range is more than 12 months old so it'll be in warranty anyway.

If you contact Creative, ring them don't email them.
Tech support via email is done in India or somewhere and they just follow a procedure on each email regardless of the problem. I was told to format the Zen and upgrade the firmware when my problem was a button didn't work.
If you ring them it can be sorted there and then.
