Tribes 2 on Linux?

I was taking a look at the box just yesterday and noticed that there's the Loki logo and a spiel about 'Linus being a trademark of Linux Torvalds'(sic). Of course the sys-req just said Windows 9x/NT/2000/ME So, can someone tell me whether the store bought version will work on Linux? Thanks

i *think* you might get a linux server with the game, but for the linux client go to
