Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

From reading the two threads on the two matches last night it seems that most people opted to watch the Shels match over the Utd. last which is brilliant, me included. And actually quite a few people went instead.
I would've loved to go to the match last night but just couldn't make it.
So I just decided to see how many actually watched the Shels match instead of the Utd. one.

Flicked between the two (mostly Shelbourne), had a bath towards the end of the first half, made a cup of tea during the second...

    >And actually quite a few people went instead.

Going to games is the "instead" in this country, says it all really. There's no culture of going to games in this country, its not even a football culture at all, its an entertainment culture. Great if things change, but I don't see it happening.

Best of the night had to be Mark Lawrenson. Darren Frehill mentioned how positive a result Shels got, and the ever delightful Lawro gave a brief 45- second analysis of the game. One wonders was he actually watching the game he was being paid to opine on.
