Some people complained that they found the sounds of Doom 3 rather dissapointing, especially the guns of this brand new game. So there-for the rock star us.gifTrent Reznor from the band Nine Inch Nails has made an alternative soundpack for you. Now you proabably ask whats so special about this guy, well he has done the sounds and music of the Quake series and American Mcgee's: Alice game before. So this pack has in my opinion much better sounds for the imp, the pinky, the zombie, the fat zombie, the zombie commando, the hell knight, the pistol, the shotgun, the machine gun, the chaingun and ofcourse the player himself.

Also another fact is that this guy would have done the original soundtrack and sounds of Doom 3. But lack of management, time and money Trent reznor didn't get his dream forfilled. If you want to know more about that history, then hop to his page here to read all about it!

Still got Interested? Still wanna hear his dream? Well, then first download the sound pack at this click-able link from the ClanBase ftp. After that you have to unzip the pack in your Doom 3 base directory. (small note: If you already have a pak005.pak4 then simpley rename it to pak006.pak4) And your ready to go! But if you didn't like the sounds or want the old sounds back. Then simply delete the pak005.pak4 at the Doom 3 base directory and you hear your old sounds once again.
