Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is it just me but i saw a trailer for dodgeball last week and I saw a boom mic in shot during most of the trailer.

Is it a slip up or a deliberate p*ss take?

Well I didn't see any boom mikes. Odd that you did. It occasionally happens I think, in rough cuts of the movie, where they screw up the projection but a trailer should've been fine.

well it is a mockumentary type thing, no ???
whether or not it is, its still probably deliberate, and even if its not, its still quite a common mistake in movies...

I think it has mockumentary elements but they are in B&W.

I've seen the film and there's no boom mikes in it. And it's not a mockumentary. The guys in it watch an old 50's educational film to see how you play dodgeball. That's the bit in the trailer that's black and white.

Yeah looking forward to it too, trailer's very funny.

Maybe the projectionist had his finger over the projector?!

    His finger if you're lucky.

Films have an edge, and safe area (so theres some stuff not projected, to give a margin, occasionaly a projectionist can rack a shot incorrectly....

Ben Stiller's character is called White Goodman. I found that hillarious. What sort of first name is White?!?!

I bet I'd burst out laughing if I me this person. Or maybe its a combination of a ridiculous name and a ridiculous moustache that find so funny. Does your buddy have a similair moustache?
