    Hey folks..
not sure if this is even the right place to ask this. But does anyone know of a site (english) i came across it ages ago and forgot to mark it.
It is for some kind of warehouse that gets rid of stuff that is found on british rail. they sell and auction off loads of stuff.. phones, clothes, actually amazing what people leave on public transport.
    anyone have any idea
    cheers!!!

I very much doubt it was a British Rail as the rail system was privatised about 10 years ago.

Unless the system has changed recently there is not one big auction, each office or area will organise their own auctions every so often in various different ways depending on the size and company involved.

A quick google search threw up a bunch of chancers selling info on how to find auctions but if you keep digging there will most likely be some links. Failing that you could always ring up one of the large lost property offices and ask them, I remember seing details posted up in one a few years back of an auction.
