    Just got UTV Broadband last week...


    At last the speeds that I have been waiting for....

    But I then noticed that it was quicker using my 56K modem..
    Pings have been in the 300's..
    Called support , they said that it must be the exchange..

    But could it be the USB adsl modem ?

    We are in the Bray area, has anyone else havin the same problems..

    Going to get a router on Monday, maybe this will improve things then again maybe not.

    UTV were having problems for a fair while. They changed and upgraded stuff yesterday afternoon which seems to have resolved all of these problems though. Have you checked your pings and download speeds today? Could you paste a few here?

    will post a few pings when I return.

    Presently in England and the speed here is very good.......

    Will post a test on both the USB adsl modem and the ethernet router
