It normally means target whatever asset is nearest to the person calling them.

If your an experienced painter then you will first open up the command screen and see exactly where they are in relation to you and the nme base assets.

Although I tend to beacon assets if I'm on a base/flag run as I'm sure there is a heavy out there who appreciates the targetting.

Here is a big tip for tank pilots/bombers.

    1. One or both (possibly both) of you should carry a repair pack. Flares are handy too.

    2. When you get to the enemy base don't steam in guns blazing. Find a nice place to hide the tank within 400km range. Then let the pilot get out and quickly paint the areas to mortor.

    3. In general don't worry about people on the ground. Just run them over or lob one mortor in thier general direction.

    4. STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM BASE TURRETS.

    5. If the bad guy has a missle launcher there are a few ways to deal with them but most importantly. Stop thrusting/firing then...

    (a) run them over. Missles can't lock at close range anyway.

    (b) pilot jumps out and throws flares. A tank at full shields/armor can take a serious amount of punishment anyway, so never panic.

The only problem is finding a gunner for the tank that won't run off with your tank if you hop out.

That too. Really annoying hopping out of the ship to repair it and then watch as your gunner jumps into the drivers seat and drives off into the sunset

    Cueballs Noob!3 guide to T2 ----

    1) IF anyone attempt to take your motor, Shocklance the motor!!!

    2) Suicide machine, You will need --->
    1 scout armour
    2 jet bike thingy
    3 Satchel charge
    4 Bait
    5 witeout grenades

First equip in the following, any weapons will do. Get on your bike, wait for air support so the enemy will all be lookin in the sky, then ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM straight for the enemy generators, dash a few grenades in, then get the generators in view, chuck your charge. If the areas all clear wait there with your animation menu up, as soon as you see your first enemy do the funky wave dance and detonate biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif works for me everytime.

Okay being a complete n00bie and posting here is probably a mistake - but a loadout I find handier for base destruction.

    Scout :
    Chaingun
    Blaster
    ELF
    Cloak.

ELF the shields from targets and then use the blaster. Keep the chaingun for emergencies.
Very handy on large bases where you're likely to run out of ammo.
