I currently have myself a Magic Star MP3 Player 256MB version ( http://www.pc-memory-upgrade.co.uk/memory/magic-star-mp3-player.asp ), its a great little device, battery recharges via USB and it lasts about 20hours of playback between recharges.

But lately I've been thinking of getting a IPod Mini, Apple site seems abit expensive (€270) Anyone have any other sites or shops around that sell it for less?

amazon.com have a deal where you can buy an iPod 15GB for $150, but I haven't looked into it to see if there are any negative aspects:

Axel, thanks, didn't know that. That's a nuisance.

Take a look on www.macrumors.com as well, Cabaal, they always have guide prices to where you can buy Mac stuff cheaply. The interface is a little unreliable (the "lowest price" often isn't available when you click through), but it's a good guide even so.

Audible.com will give you an Amazon.com promotional certificate good for $100 off the purchase of any AudibleReady® device when you join their AudibleListener program for 12 months, starting at $14.95 per month

plus thats the catch. $14.95 per month for a year = $179, so its costing you an extra $79. not bad if your into spoken word audio though. :D
