    Fact or Fiction?
    • I read that if you're having problems with T2, deleting the .dso fles can help. T2 will create new ones.

    Is this true?

The reason Im asking is because I turned down my GFX settings and my FPS went down! Deleting the .dso files might help(?) and if T2 just creates new ones, it cant do any harm to try.

    Regards

since the latest official patch, you shouldnt need to delete your DSO's any more. Having said that it does absoloutly no harm to do it. Do a find in your tribes 2 folder for anything with DSO and trash the lot. tey are recompiled next time you start T2.
