    i thought this is quite evident when he calls his own people "stupid". i gave a link to this earlier in the thread.

    No he refers to the group that runs the country stupid. The mainly white WASP power elite. Did you go further than the cover of that book.
    i read this on a newspaper in miami when i was over there on holidays, and many americans i asked the question to had the same consensus. i'll dig up the link as soon as i can.

    Miami? Miami? In a newpaper in one of the most right wing states, in a right wing capital. Between the Cuban exiles, and Jeb "savings n loans" Bush.

    The documentary is the first to breach the $100million mark. and I've only read Moore sucks stuff on the same sites that were saying that before the film.
    hy should i need a link for this, this is MY OPINION. i dont think he has been too ambiguous on the fact that he wants a left wing, socialist state. just my opinion

    I think he wants a more equitable america with a more accountable government.

    I tend to ignore moorewatch cause of stuff like this.

    Thats a direct Bush quote, and moorewatch use it as concrete proof that Bush was just gathering composure. To which the obvious thing to respond to that is "well fu*king duh of course you'd say that"

    Vinny mate you'll clutching at straws on this point it in no way has anything to do with reasons to re-election Bush, and if this is the one straw you're clutching at at Farhneit 9/11 it's fairly weak.

    Finally just on an aside, you think Moore is unpatriotic and in a time of war a country should get begin it's leader unquestionably. You're on a politics board which means you won't get much enthusasim for such an attitude. We're all here to discuss politics and current affairs, we don't generally go for the "blindly follow the leader" attitude round here.

    seriously though, this board is SUCH a step up to the normal arguments i have in college, or on while writing for the debating team in secondary school (3rd in ireland dont ye know!!)
