    Not a fan of Victoria Wood, she tries to hard to be barmy or something *shrug*
    There are some decent comediennes out there Pauline McLynn for example, and there are some desperate ones also, Deirdre O'Kane for instance... her only talent is having the most irritating voice ever to be broadcast on radio/television.

    I think though that stand up comedy is a very male dominated area and that's obviously why it appears that there are just more funny men out there than women.
