    Irish b2 (o)
    English c1
    Maths b2
    Spanish c2
    chemistry c2
    tech drawing b2
    Accounting b2

Gonna have a look at the accounting, tech drawing, maths and chem scripts, just wondering and possibly a recheck on tech <---Really sure i did better than a b2 there.

Yeah, I'm quite disappointed... I know it's stupid because I did grand (480) but I'm very disappointed with a couple of my grades. I got a C1 in Chemistry when I was hoping for a B1 or B2, and a B3 in Maths and Physics when I was hoping for a B1 in each...

Anyway, I got my course so I'm just going to forget about it, I think.
Is there any point appealing if I know I have my course? It costs €37 per subject, which is a bit of a rip off...

395 for me (thought i will get low 300 or less)

    English (H) D3
    Maths (O) A2
    History (H) C1
    Geography (H) B2
    Physics (H) C1
    Engineering (H) B2

    I'm really sad that I didn't get my A1 in maths... I wasn't great on P2.

Newer thought that I will get B2 in geo, I was considering of swithching to pass on the day!!!
Same for engineering, B2 wow!, a ****ed up my practical exam where we had to make some thingy. My amphibious vehicle was rather of unusual desing, and I made a mistake, so it didnt work in water (it would stay there, floating, and not moving). Maybe staying to the very end of the exam is useful? As there were two of us left until the very end (he got B1 i think).
History is ok with phy, wanted a bit more. Considering I did most of the history essays in early june, maybe i did ok. Phy is ok, expected maybe a b because the paper was easy.

It was sad to see some of my friends who should have done better than me, do bad.

BRING ON COMPUTER APPLICATIONS IN DCU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That and it's possible for them to mark you down on a recheck. Once you get into Uni your leaving cert points become totally irrelevant anyways.

Hmm, well I'm an A student in English but I thought I'd failed it on the day. I was one of those people banking on Dickinson. Got a B in the end, disappointing but at least I didn't fail.

I know I might have only got 50 points but at least I'll still be able to have a Higher Diploma in 3 years.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭Kold

    English (H) - B3
    Maths (O) - B3
History (H) - C2 (My first non-failed history exam since I took it up this yr)
    Geography (H) - C2
    French (O) - B2
Art (H) - C2 (may get this rechecked)
Biology (H) - C2 (Teacher got the sack)

CBA totting up the points. Did OK having not done a lick of work, regret not working though because I was told I could've been a 600point student if I put in the minimum of work. Got Psychology in canterbury anyhow.

as seamus & co said, points don't matter if you get something you want.

I don't care that you got 50 points, I will congratulate you on getting into your Diploma course though. Congrats!

Thats for an applied leaving cert or what ever, where you get merits distinctions and a pass, and they count towards points.

    535.

    Irish H D1
    English H B1
    Maths H A1
    Applied Maths H A2
    Physics H A2
    Chem H B1
    French H B1
    Spanish H B1

My school told me I'd got 555 points (yes they opened our envelopes & counted them  ) but then I went & calculated again & I was almost disappointed. Then I realised I was being stupid & was happy again. English & French I'd have hoped for an A2 but... Ah well. It's ****ing great no matter. I've almost certainly got Engineering UCD so that's all that matters. And I did best in all the right subjects for it (I hope) too.

Nope nope. You do not get points if you have failed a subject, no matter what level it's at.

You can get them off the web as long as you have your PIN.

570, needed 375. Was sure of an A1 in Eco dunno what happened there. Very shocked at French especially with the tape test. Can't wait to see the marks I got in each section. Would have liked to creep into the 85+ range for English, looking forward to seeing that paper too. Tons of people got over 500 in my year, 3 600s.

but it's only up to 600, the tool added them all up instead if 6 of them, (if they were all a1's)
