POP goes the Gmail - Does this app work for anyone?

Has to be just me. I've installed this at home (WinXP), tried it when I had SP1 and SP2, same error each time. Must be my machine or WinXP I thought. Installed it in work (Win2k SP4), exact same error. Has anyone got it to work?
