BT Extends ADSL to over 6km

An article over on The Register today, BT are now extending their ADSL 512K to over 6KM from the exchange and basically saying that there is no limit on it now. They are also extending their 1mb service up to 6Km from the exchange. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/08/18/bt_extended_adsl/

Pity BT wouldn't buy into Eircom, they really do put them to shame.

They bought into ESAT and that really hasn't achieved an awful lot for us.
