Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Killing tree roots/stumps

I have cut down some (coniferous) trees which were growing wildly out of control. However, someone mentioned to me that it is necessary to kill the stumps/roots.
Any suggestions on the best way to do this?

There are companies who specialise in destroying the stumps. They have a machine that pretty much mulches them in the ground.

However, if you want a more DIY approach - I've heard that drilling holes in the stumps and filling them with diesel does the trick.
