I have my test coming up soon so im looking into booking a pre-test or two. I would like to use someone who's going to advise me rather then telling me to drive around for a hour.

Who or where would you recommend. I live in Dublin 15 .

It might help if you said what test centre you are going to, there are some instructors who specialise in pre-tests for particular centres.

    Colliers

do yourself a favour and dont use colliers,
i used them when learning to drive and the instructor was the laziest, most incompetent fool i ever came across, didnt have a clue of the rules of the road, stuck in a que at the lights he put his seat back and said 'give me a shout when you get through'
i wasnt the only one either, i know two other people with bad experiences with colliers, maybe they're just isolated incidences but in my experience colliers are one to be avoided.
i did my test in finglas and used the airport driving school for my pre test and they were very good, i think you will find every school would have instructors familiar with each each route so ask around.
