Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

LIAM: Careful there Ted, that may offend the girls.
FR.TED: Of course, they all have lovely bottoms.

The quality of women seems to be sliding in conjunction with the popularity of the festival

yeah but look at South Austrailia, Darwin, England, Kerry, New Orleans, Ros Fodlhla & washington it looks like they were all hit with the ugly shovel.

And Im not saying the others are great either Im just giving them the benefit of doubt that those are bad pictures.

yeah me too, although in a way Im glad Im not home (Tralee) the place gets over-run with knackers & scumbags at this time of year. Still the drinking on the streets and those dodgy food vans are definatly plus points

From her picture, Pamela Relihan looks like she doesn't want to be here.

16/1! Possibily another 'Nadia'? ..... by which I of course mean 'winner of a massively publicised popularity contest'.

Yes, but it was never designed to be a beauty competition. They are looking more for a personality, an ambassador not a beauty. They want someone who is natural, who has a rapport with the public, extrovert without beoing cocky etc. The judging is based on the whole week, not just the interview onstage. They are watched and individually interviewed at length by the judges. Favouritism often goes more along the looks element, than the other parts, which is what the judges are looking for. The best looking girl rarely wins.

My point is that they are not there for their looks, but for their personalities, which is after all what we really end up going for.
