Hey Folks, Just a quick question. I have Eircom BB with the Netopia Modem. I use a Sony Laptop with it. Should I turn the modem off when I'm finished using it??. Hey Folks,

Just a quick question.

Most of the time I have the laptop with me during the day so it would not be plugged into the modem.

Also which is the better connection Ethernet or USB??

The reason why I ask is because over the past few days I have been having probs when I try and start up my modem, the DSL Sync light keeps flashing and wont let me check my email or surf the net.

Any help would be great.

If you have the ethernet modem (which is the better one IMO) keep it on all the time which is what we do.
