Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Quickie for yiz: On the basic NTL cable package I have a channel showing the list of upcoming matches on Setanta and Newstalk 106 playing on it. Is this the channel that the footie will appear on or is there another channel with other programming on it? I don't want to be still watching the listing after the game has…

Quickie for yiz:
On the basic NTL cable package I have a channel showing the list of upcoming matches on Setanta and Newstalk 106 playing on it. Is this the channel that the footie will appear on or is there another channel with other programming on it?
I don't want to be still watching the listing after the game has kicked off, nor do I want to grow old waiting to talk to a human in NTL.

Yep Pool vs Man City, somehow I doubt this will be a dour draw. I see in my crystal ball GOALS !!!!!!

Yeah its nice to be able to watch a few matches live without financing that Murdoch's evil media empire !

But Sky actually spend money on there program services , Setanta may as well go down the Submarine and ask drunk barflys for half time analysis and live commentary , the drunkards may be closer to the game than the Setanta commentators.

Everyone in Dublin should have it (as everyone in Dublin have cable, well nearly). I have Sky and NTL but can only watch the matches on NTL, you have to subscribe to the channel with Sky. There's likely to be Eircom league matches on it soon, 10 a season AFAIK.

Suprised a few of you only found it today.

Its a long time since I heard one bloke on his own doing the commentary,its like a going back to the 80s...but who cares its live football after all.

We saw a glimpse of Aldo doing punditry for Scouse radio so Setanta should be able to afford someone like (name any of a million ex-pool players in the meeja).

Setanta will show delayed coverage of St. Pats -v- Shamrock Rvrs on Saturday 4th at 10.40am. I presume they're showing it on the Saturday (as opposed to live) because there channel hasn't officially launched and only comes to life on Sat/Sun.

Other matches to look forward to on the same day are Switzerland -v- Faroe's (4.25pm), France -v- Israel (7.30pm) and Latvia -v- Portugal (9.45pm).

Celtic League rugby will also start on Setanta this month if anyone's interested.
