What a lot of you fail to realise is that if Isreal were to attack Iran, it wouldn't be an invasion.
It would be one cnilical attack on thier nuke programe, 4-5 long distance fighter-bombers, 1-2 teams of comando's and it would all be over within about 3 hours.
Iran has no chance of stopping Isreal as thier military is a joke (however big it is) and thier air force is very badly trained, where as the IAF is argueable the best trained in the world (The US, UK and Norway would disagree, but screw them :P).

It wouldn't be a War so to speak, just a pre-emptive strike, and would in all likelyness be a much safer thing than Iran actually developing weapons grade plutonium, which they would more than likely use in the blink of an eye.

Would they use it in "the blink of an eye"? That's what people said about the Soviets when they developed the bomb, but it never happened.

US policy at the moment encourages the development of WMD. If you have WMD (like North Korea) you won't be invaded. If you don't, you will. (Iraq). So logically, the Iranians are trying to develop WMD to prevent an invasion. They are not, in my opinion, doing it for agressive purposes.
