    Peoples of Glorindar and freinds, For all those who did, thank you for turning up. The event
    unfortunatly was spoiled by a gang of ruffians and thieves who were determined to ruin the
    celebrations.Im glad to say some of you did enjoy the event and I was glad for your letters of
    suport. As a result of the thieving and disruption only some of the prizes were given.
    Mythradin won as Novice warrior, Sir Forrest won as novice archer and Mirlandi won the open
    warriors event. Thanks especially to the guardsmen militia who helped with trying to control
    the thieves and their corporal Meran Llewyn who almost won the warriors event. Some of you
    may have seen the orc raider who turned up and was driven off. This and another incident
    where the orcs tried to infiltrate a spy into our town has upset us in the high council greatly.
    The orcs arrogance knows no bounds and war seems inevitable. We feel that this decision is
    of such importance to the citizens of Glorindar that we will hold a ballot on this matter. All full
    citizens will be able to vote on this over the next week and the decision will be made next
    saturday. The ballot box is in the main hall of the tower next to the training dummies.
