Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Try squeeze/suck on it for a bit, or give it a good wash with antiseptic soap. It's the venom that causes the most pain, but it will be soreish for about 3 three days, and leave a mark for up to two weeks.

wasp stings are alkali, which means the PH is greater than 7.
So what you do is neutralise the reaction by adding a mild acid. Like vinegar.
Put some white vinegar on some cotton wool and it should neutralise the venom. If you feel ill or if the swelling is pretty bad go to the doctor many people are allergic to stings to some extent and if its still hurting later this evening go to the doctor. If the pain isnt localised in the area of the sting and if you swell up at all/feel sick go to the doc immediately.
