Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless router without PC on all the time?

Just as the title says. Is it possible to just have a wireless router connected to your broadband without a PC on? Is this what a wireless access point is?

My main PC (Win 2K) is currently connected to my RADSL. It is however a noisy piece of machinery. Ideally I'd like to be able to connect to broadband via my laptop wirelessly (XP pro, .11g) without having my main PC on. Any comments or recommendations would be appreciated.
