    Hey there,
I'm thinking of getting a Squeezebox or something similar.
"What on earth is that?", I hear you say.

here it is, in all it's glory

Has anyone bought anything similar? What do y'all think of it?
Does it work good? So many questions!

    Just saw your post today!
    I have the Squeezebox's predcessor, The Slimp3.
It works fine now but I had a lot of trouble setting it up with my wireless network. I had my MP3s stored on a older machine which I didn't use anymore and it seemed to be too slow for the player. I have them on a faster machine now and it works fine.

I had other problems setting it up but I must say that all my emails to the maker were answered extremely quickly and were very helpful.

By the way, have you looked at the Netgear MP101. It seems to do the same thing and is cheaper. I've seen it for about £90 sterling or in Ireland for about €150.

Does anyone else have this type of box?
