    Wait a sec... I was just reading that page that Aonghus sent me to... It says:

    IV. Child prostitution
    Section 16 of the Children Act, 1908, as amended by Section 11 of the Criminal Law (Amendment)
    Act, 1935 provides that it is an offence for any person to allow a child between the ages of four (4)
    and seventeen (17) years to reside in or frequent a brothel.

    Does that mean that children of the age of three (3) or less may frequent brothels?

    Intersting thing I noticed was that homosexual males can't legally do ANYTHING until 18, including things hetrosexuals and homosexual females can do from 15

    One of the 2 (IMO) blatently homophobic laws of ireland

    you do realise that by seeking loopholes which allow you to go to a brothel just makes people think that you wish to avail of a hooker's services.

    rescinded tbh. All ages are 17 - actually one sec - goes to check www.ageofconsent.com - yup http://www.ageofconsent.com/ageofconsent.htm

    17 for straight sex, 17 for lesbian sex and 17 for gay sex.

    Well me is 19 tho i was in doctors and said i was twenty and my mum corrected me and i was really embarassed *cringes* I honestly tho from age of 17 onwards always lied bout age so occasionally its hard for me to remember it :-D
