    Does killing a NPC give you a MC ?

    Nope. It will turn you gray if the NPC isn't red.

    Also I heard they changed the game again so if you steal from an NPC they will attack you outside town, and random steal (which was used to harvest monsters apprantly... go figure) has been disabled so you get "that item is too heavy" a lot more.

    Or so I'm told.

    Those changes are on siege, but you can now stealth and snoop doesnt unhide you. Maybe some of the changes will make there way back to the other shards.
