Im planning on buying around 10m of rj11 cable so i can move my modem into a different room than my telephone socket. I was looking at buying this cable and i keep seeing rj11 male - BT plug cables. Im guessing im looking for just rj11 m-m seeing as im getting esat business broadband. But im just wondering if im correct or do i need the rj11-BT plug cable instead.

thanks a lot for your help

You need rj11 at both ends. That proprietary BT plug is not used on any DSL equipment (even DSL modems in the UK use the international RJ11 standard, as far as I know).

Peats? This time last year I got a long phone extension in Tesco. Homebase or Woodies should also have them.

My problem is anywhere else i've found them they're 7m or less, or else around 30m. I found a 10m long in peats for around e12. which is a little more expensive but its only a few euro and it saves me a bit of time. And i definitely need the full 10m.
