    Can people with IOL and Zxyel modem 600 series please ping and tracert these ip's
    217.158.176.26
    217.158.176.25
    As i get major bad pings from claranet when ping and doing a tracert
    These are my clans COD servers.

    See when it hits the router for uk.claranet it goes to at least 200ms for me everytime, would this be a setting problem or something?

    Sorry Hellraiser for not repling before I was busy the whole day :o but even I get that spike at that hop

    maybe it's a temp spike and you only really notice it when playing online, I doubt it's anything at our end :confused:

    That's not good.....2884ms and one time out! This is just the first hop ( your modem/router ) maybe there is something wrong with it.

    I dont get a bad ping 1st hop but when it gets to claranet i do

    hey all,
    don't get too hung up with poor response times for pings from intermediate routers - it's the response time from the server at the end that counts. What I see is the 2nd last host, the router, looks like it's relegating ping traffic to lowest priority.
