Colonel Ubiratan Guimaraes has been found guilty of the murder of 102 prison inmates in Brazil during a prison riot in 1992.

He was given 6 years in prison for each of his victims and then 20 years for 5 attempted murders. However, under Brazilian law he can only stay for a maximum of 30 years in prison.

Human rights campaigners say "In our opinion, it is an important message for society that police are not above the law."

Insanity is spreading like wildfire.......and Im at its center :p

Brazilian police.I'm struggling to think of a police force I'd rather avoid more in any shape or form.Maybe Burmese or something. Taliban religious police....heh. He's probably either a) Living well inside, seen as he won't be in with the general populace on account of being a cop. or b) Being repeatedly gang raped and tortured by his former colleagues, like they are prone to doing. Probably "a)".
