Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right, spotted a few upcoming DVD releases that might be of intrest.

First off is A Tale Of Two Sisters which should be released on the 22nd of November in a nice 2-Disc edition with plenty of extras.

Then there is Ju-On: The Grudge which is being released in a Single Disc Version on the 4th of October, and a Double Disc "Platinum" Version, which annoyingly isn't being released untill Febuary of next year. Ju-On: The Grudge 2 is also getting a release pretty quickly after the 2-Disc edition of the first film, in March of next year, but no clues to whether it's getting a special edition release as of yet.

Lastly, there's Phone, which is being released January next year.

That little lot should get some hands rubbing with glee! Personally, I've pre-ordered A Tale Of Two Sisters and the 2-Disc Ju-On: The Grudge, but not it's sequal, and to be honest, Phone looks rather like a poor Ring clone.

Oh, and no spoilers lads, I've not seen any of these films yet!
    Thanks.

Personally out of all the asian horror ive seen , Ju-On: The Grudge has to be my absolute favourite ever...... Only one to actually scare my and make me look behind myself in the dark while watching it. Creeped the crap outa me

The Grudge is very very scary and is great as a "scary movie" its great as a collection of scares but its not the best in terms of story/script etc.

Well all these have already been shown at UGC, so in order:

Ju-On: The Grudge - Worth getting! Scary

A Tale of Two Sisters - Really liked this one. Intelligent too. Can't say what it reminds me of because that'd be a spoiler.

Phone - Saw this last night. DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THIS. Inferior movie spawned by better Asian horrors like Ringu/Dark Waters/Ju-On.
