Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DVD region question

    Just about to buy some stuff of CD WOW, and it was listed as region 2 and 4, but when I clicked on it it told me to check if my DVD player was region 10...
    so will a region 2 player play a region 10 disk?? And what is region 10? Any lists I've found only go up to 8.

    I have a multi region player, but thats only one of my players out of 3.

    Same thing happened to me when I bought a region 2 & 4 disc, I got that region 10 mumbo jumbo on cdwow. When I got the disc it was in fact region 4 and it plays on my multi region and my r2 dvd players.

    Most Region 4's are dual encoded for Region 2 *

    As far as i know, there is no region 10

    Region Codes:

    0 No Region Coding
    1. United States of America, Canada
    2. Europe, including France, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Arabia, Japan and South Africa
    3. Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Borneo and Indonesia
    4. Australia and New Zealand, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America
    5. India, Africa, Russia and former USSR countries
    6. Peoples Republic of China
    7. Unused
    8. Airlines/Cruise Ships

    Just a mistake on CDWOW's behalf probably..

    I'll take the chance, and if it doesn't work, gandalf, I'm coming for you (I don't do small print :D)

    I got the same 8 region list when I googled, so I'm figuring cdwow invented their own or something.
