Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Like most things, Silvermints have shrunk..... or maybe it's just me being bigger.

The addictive properties of silvermints are indeed quite disturbing. Roumer has it that the government invented them in order introduce Irish working class children to heroine. Thank You Charlie!

Oh yes, they were indeed great back in the day.
I remember my Uncle used to give 'em to me.

Don't ever remember buying them on my own accord though.

I got aspirin tablets in France that look like silvermints (a bit bigger though) and I think that they help me feel better from a psychological pt of view due to this resemblance. Solid and reassuring.

    Viva la silverment siempre!

Yeah the cinnamon ones were nice, hadn't seen them in ages and then I went to a friends party in Cork and her boyfriend had some. I kinda preferred the XXX mints that were out. They were kinda the daddies of the mints at that stage I think. Many a happy day was spent watching the expression on their faces when they were eating them.... <--- you know... the surprised and horrified look lol

I think I saw a new variety of silvermint recently, extra strong or something.

I loved the way they'd melt in your mouth after a little while. yummy

Didnt like the way i couldnt drink water for bout ten minutes after and when i did it burned even more.
