Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a laptop with a mini pci wifi card (802.11b, generic dell model) and since applying XP SP2 to the laptop I can no longer see any wifi devices with the laptop.

I have an Airway Transport AP and have tested a second laptop (without SP2) which works fine, but with my main laptop i can't see either the AP or the other wifi laptop at all.

i double checked and the radio is on, i even disabled and re-enabled it to be sure.

I turned off the new firewall thingy, and zonealarm but it's still not picking it up, even when it's only a few inches away from the AP.

I can even pick up one of my neighbours AP's with the other laptop from the same location, but I can't see it with the problem laptop at all.

has anyone else had any problems since installing SP2?

I'm going to try and re-install the software and try again, but i just wanted to check to see if anyone knew of any issues with it.

    thanks.

I have a Thinkpad T40p laptop and Wi-Fi stopped working after applying SP2.
I finally found out that the problem was caused by an incompatability between SP2 and IBM's wireless connection manager -> After uninstalling the soft everything went back to normal.

So my advice would be to try to uninstall everything related to Wi-Fi and not absolutely needed for you wireless card to work.

I had one or two device problems after installing SP2 ... not wireless ... but just reinstalling the device drivers worked.
