NT4 and Excel 2000

I've encountered a very strange problem with Excel 2000 on an NT box. Im unable to format a cell with the date format dd/mm/yy The only options available are in the US format mm/dd/yy The regional settings for the PC are UK English Can anyone help?

there is a registry setting to change this , google is your friend.

although thats not registry related, its the 3rd answer that google threw up. I don;t know the registry setting off hand , but as you can see , if you google then you'll get your answers lazy
