Looking for Irish Artist !

Ok. This is a bit of a strange request but someone recently told me about an Irish singer who releases cover versions of famous songs but sang in the style of *another* artist. For example I'm told that he released a CD of Bowie covers. but sang them in the style of Elvis ! Anyone, got any idea of who this could be?

There was a nothern guy who went under the name of "The King" who released an album of covers of songs by dead folk sung in the voice of Elvis?
