Hi I was given a 6610 by my dad as he upgraded to a 5100, Every time i put my sim card into it, it works grand for a couple of hour or maybe days then it stops working Whenever i try to make a call it makes the "number not in service" sound Then if i take my sim out and put it into my 6310 and then back into the 6610 it…

Then if i take my sim out and put it into my 6310 and then back into the 6610 it works grand agian for another while.

Any ideas, i was thinking maybe firmware or somthing

was your dad having any problems with the 6610 before he gave it to you ?.......

or was it droped at any stage ?

it sounds like it could be the aerial is damaged or it's a network problem...... !

I'd say the aerial has been damaged !
