Can you simply find and replace?

Find - space, replace with nothing.

Or would that alter the line break?

Actually, if that doesn't work you could probably import the data into excel and then do the find and replace thing, then export back to text?

Could I fit any more question marks into this post? Paddy, what you think?

if you have access to a unix box, 'sed' will do what you're after.
