Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A good move for Souness. His spell at Blackburn has turned rather stale in the last year or so. Their points (and performances) could well have seen him sacked by Christmas if things didn't pick up. He gets to go to Newcastle which with the exception of a dodgy CB pairing (whoever you play) have a good team.

Blackburn get a decent payoff for him and a chance to bring in a new manager.

As for Newcastle, I'm not sure. They do need someone who can show the players who is boss and possibly drop one or two of them for their antics. Also he will have a decent chunk of cash to use (hopefully for good proven defenders not idiotic bids for Shrek or the likes) in January. That said there is enough trouble in the Newcastle camp without setting Souness loose on Shearer, Robert, Kluivert, Bellamy, Dyer...

Hopefully it will work out well for the Toon's.
